Yoga TYoga teacher Jo, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga, Bedminster, Windmil Hilleacher: Jo

I strongly believe that yoga has something to offer everyone and feel privileged to share the many benefits of the practice with my students.

I have been practicing regularly since 2008 and teaching yoga for the last three years. I have completed 500hours of teacher training with Himalaya Yoga Valley and I am a registered Associate Level 2 Teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. I completed my teacher training in 2013 and also completed an advanced teaching course earlier in 2016. I have been extremely privileged to learn from a range of experienced teachers with a traditional yoga lineage. I am committed to teaching traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga using Iyengar inspired alignment techniques to make this demanding style accessible to everyone. In 2016 I also specialised in Yoga for digestive health as part of my training, due to my own experience of living with Crohn’s disease and the positive benefits that yoga can have for this condition.
As someone who loves the outdoors and spending time climbing, hiking and cycling I am passionate about teaching yoga to athletes and sporting populations. I am a registered Sports Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.
